Welcome!

Hi! I am Jaclyn Griffith, wife of Sean, mother to 3 year old Avery, and a school librarian for a K-4 elementary school in Lancaster, PA. This past April my life was thrown for a bit of a loop. I found out my full-time teaching position was being reduced to part-time. Not only was this a significant loss of income and benefits for my family, but it philosophically cut my legs out from underneath me. However, not being one to dwell on the negative, I am hoping that this change will provide me with more opportunities on the home front than I was afforded as full-time working mom trying to keep up with cooking, cleaning, laundry, church, organizations I serve, and so on and so forth. I really hoped that it would give me more time to be with my daughter. Which it has… so I am trying to find fun ways to spend that extra time we’ve found.

I was never a fan of the blog world because it took so much time and effort to keep up with what I was interested in and to keep up with posting to. But I really wanted to start blogging to keep my accountable to my organization, cooking, and mommy tasks. And my new found obsession called Pinterest has given more ideas than I will have time to probably even attempt, but I do look forward to the challenge and hope that this experience will better our lives in many ways.
